It is not as if I ever really lost my love for playing the guitar... I was just growing a bit weary. For years now I have been feverishly fighting with my old Fender trying to stay motivated to use it. I eventually turned to other instruments such as the harmonica and violin to settle this frustration, but I was never truly content. I love music, and I love playing music, but I needed to rediscover my first love all over again. I have recently made the purchase of a new guitar, she's a Martin 000-15 series and she is beautiful. Dark mahogany, smooth finish, rosewood neck, and a sound that would make even Woody Guthry jealous.
Even though I love my new guitar, don't think for a second I am holding back with the violin. A lot of good stuff is on it's way and it will include both of them.
